202-843-5999 – Loan user reviews

I am thankful than this web page is available. It really concerns me that such people can find your number and call about student loans that no longer exist. The number that called me is 202-843-5999, with a code # 070120 and operator # 2561. This is a scam call as I do NOT have any current outstanding student loans. The caller left this information on my voice mail and I did not get a chance to speak to the caller on the other end, be it a live person or a computer.

Same exact scam message as everyone else is getting.

IJITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These companies/people ought to be fined, put in jail and not allowed to go back to this company or start another similar business . These people call your phone number and go straight to voicemail without ever ringing the phone, DON'T know how that's done, but that option or feature ought to be disabled. I DO NOT have any student loans of any kind. There should be FEDERAL LEGISLATION/LAW to keep these companies from hounding innocent people from being annoyed with this crap. PLEASE SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING!!!!

Student loan scam, I've been getting these calls for more than a year now, they quit for awhile, but they are back at it. So annoying. I never answer and never call back. They need to be stopped and fined.

I got a call from 202-843-5999 telling me I was eligible for student loan forgiveness. The agent said her name was Lisa Hall. I was given a personal validation code of 070120. I was then transferred to a guy who started asking me questions. He said only 90% of my debt was forgiven and that payments could be set up to pay the remaining 10%. I said I would do that. Then suddenly the phone call was cut off. I tried calling back but when I pressed two to be connected to a person it said I will removed from further notifications, instead of being connected to an agent like the menu said I would. After doing some research on the phone number I come to realize it was some type of scam.

Big time Scam. I asked the person if they felt any quilt working as a scammer. She hung up on me. I called back a number of times, and asked the same question. Hang ups every time. They finally blocked me.

Yes scam all the way - never answer numbers I don't recognize so they go to VM. Agent somebody - stimulus something - needed more information to complete my non existent application - same number to call - code to use - yada yada - So why is it no one can capture these ^%$#$*)(_*(>?

Calling as an agent. with agent number, to address my student loans. I graduated college 40 years ago and NEVER had a student loan. Straight up fraud call.

She left a voicemail about a student loan forgiveness plan, similar voicemails have been left from other numbers as well.
