I did not answered. Left an incomplete phone mail message about criminal activities and warned me to not avoid them. Could not heard the first part of the message.
Slightly ""forced"" enunciation in this male's voice, ... said something like ""my name is..."" (some common name sounding like it was from a movie) , ""... from the Social Security Administration..."" - it was obviously recorded... knowing GOV offices don't robocall, I hung up. The forced ennunciation sounded like someone speaking English, trying to sound ""perfect"" but that had a different native language.... as far as I could tell. The Caller ID listed 113612570013. Usually, the ""11"" at the beginning is a suspicious indicator... I looked it up, and it is related to a ""dip fee""... which would make me think it is not used properly or at the very leas, NOT from the SSA office anyway. Maybe by answering it you are contributing to the scammer's profit? I don't know, but all I know is that they better leave a voice mail next time.. I'm not answering any 11 prefaced calls ever again.
They called and left a message about criminal activity on my account.
Got a call from this phone number today in the morning 6/11/2020 , they left no message. It is risky to answer any unknown calls. In a lot of cases they get paid for every pick up call even though they don't get to fleece you. If it's anybody important or that you know they will leave a message on voice mail.
