I met Oscar and I immediately felt I made the right choice. He has been in business for decades and assured me he can fix my poor old VCR. Oscar went above and beyond my expectations, he discovered a second problem with my VCR and took care of it for me and I couldn't be happier. I'm so glad I decided to trust him with my old, but professional grade VCR. I am now looking for other electronics in my house that he can repair for me. What a find, the best repair man in Toronto! I received a phone call back within a few hours. He picked it up that evening after offering to drive by. He works until midnight, which is great for me since my evenings are my only free time. He kind of laughed at me on the phone when I asked if he needed the amp's diagram: He's got a Ph.D in Electronics and 40+ years of experience. This was sounding pretty good. The next night he gave me a quote after telling me how he could rewire the power transformer in a fairly simple manner. He offered to upgrade some diodes as well for the new current, which seemed fine for me and the kind of stuff I would like to hear when I am trying to protect my amp. This was a $25 up-sell, for reference, but I felt confident in trusting Oscar at this point. He modified it on Monday, and delivered it back to me on Tuesday. I don't think you can ask for a faster turn-around in these scenarios. I can tell you that this amp sounds amazing and functions very well at native power! Needless to say, promised and delivered. Further, Oscar provides a 1 year "labour" guarantee and a 6 month "parts" guarantee, so I'm certain if anything goes wrong he will be prompt in addressing it. This may sound like a very hype-y review, but he did it right and he deserves 5 minutes of my time to write this. I would trust him with any of my valuable studio equipment. Andrew S. Andrew S. I called Oscar and got the unit repaired in 2 days (with a 1 year warranty in the work!). Oscar was quick to return my emails and quoted me a very reasonable repair amount. All these great reviews and I was told to fix it and I did. Big Mistake! No point in a repair if it is known something else will fail. Spending $375 on my RCA TV was a mistake. Oscar should tell his customers its better to buy a. new one if the repair cost is near the cost of a new one. I feel this was dishonest on his part and a foolish choice on my part. I myself regardless of the reviews online, what a fool I was. Essa Rosenberg
