651-390-0555 robocall for my DEAD Ex-Wife whom I have been divorced from almost a decade and who has been dead since 2018. The message left states: ""This is a confidential message for XXXXX. If you are not XXXXXX you must hang up now. Hello, I am being asked to report back to you on your matter which is a concern. We had to put a hold on your matter at your request and that is a good thing but it has expired so you must call at 888-602-0126. I will be available today until 7PM. 888-602-0126. We do need to follow up or unfortunately the matter will be taken out of our hands. To pay online go to www.directrecoveryservices.com and click on the pay now link. Your account number is ........."" It sounds like a zombie debt collection agency- meaning they try to revive an account you owe money on but on which the statute of limitations has passed. If statute of limitations is past, they have no legal right to collect. But, if you agree to work with them or send them anything, the statute of limitations is restarted and they have (typically) four more years to call you up.
It is good that there are such pages. It is easy to find out who called you. But this time I didn't find answer who called me. Anybody can help me to find it out ??. I'm searching info about number 6513900555 . They called me already three times. The first call was 6/5/2020
