Message they left was for an iPhone I supposedly purchased via my Amazon account. BOGUS!
They called and said I'd purchased an Ipad from Amazon and that if I didn't want it charged to my number, I needed to call them. I phoned the number and got an Indian voice who was determined I go to my computer and then he'd lead me how to cancel my purchase. I said I was telling him to cancel it by phone. He insisted more. I asked my Visa number he had. He repeated the instructions. I told him my credit card company can cancel it and there was no need to go to my computer for him to tell me to press anything and he told me I'd lost my 149 dollars. LOL Can Amazon be contacted to tell them of this scam?
Called about a purchase I made using a visa card. Paraphrasing the message left, it stated if I did not make a $147 purchase I should press x# on my phone. At that point I erased the message. PS. I don't have a visa card.
Does anybody else getting calls from this number? It called me just few minutes ago 12/15/2020. I didn't answer because I didnt hear it and now I think it is not good idea to call back.
