Within an hour after placing an amazon order, I received a call from an automated recording telling me my amazon account just received an order from me and that I was being charged $1,499.99 and that if I recognize this just ignore the warning and my order will be delivered. If not, to call that number and let them know, to cancel my order. I checked my amazon account to be sure and nothing other than my legitimate orders are showing up.
Answered call. Listened to recording that I had ordered something from Amazon, which I had not. Used caller ID to call back. An Asian sounding person answered claiming I had ordered an I-phone from Amazon and owed almost $500. I will not give out information, even my name, for such calls and told the person that since they had my incoming phone number to identify me, to tell me more details about the order. The person ""talked around"" my request. So, I blasted an air horn into the phone and hung up.
Did not answer call from 877-261-0017 and it left a voice mail that started ""It's going to be charged from your checking account or plastic card which is attached in our system within 24 hours for the auto renewal of your subscription if you want to cancel the subscription please call us immediately at support - 877-261-0017 if you are not the subscriber of PP care maintenance service please disconnect the call immediately and call us at 877-261-0017"" I called from my work land line. Automated answer that said ""Your call is important to us. Please stay on the line."" No one ever answered. I will disregard. Sure it's a scam.
Called me twice in one day, when I answered each time no one was said anything. Waste of my time. They called from the 8772610017 . Today 11/4/2020 early in the morning
