Caller ID shows up as ""Dish I"". Did not answer.

Despite appearing to be a number in the USA, the number comes back as being in the Republic of Adygea, in Russia. That may explain one caller's description of the male caller having a heavy accent.

scam caller, says direct tv, but fake, they will ask for your box information and want your password.

I got the same call as the stated below in the comment dated 12 Sept 2020. A man with a very heavy accent called me, he said he was calling from AT&T/DirecTV, claiming that he just needed to check our location of our current satellite to make sure our current receivers was working. I listened to all he had to say, then I told him ""If you are really calling me from AT&T/Direct TV you are aware I do NOT have Direct Tv?"" Then he said you don't have Direct Tv. I told him you should know that, since you are the one calling me. Then he was quick to come back and say"" So you have Dish Tv?"" I told him yeah, but I figured it was a scam and explained it was not a good time. Then I asked him for his number for me to call him back, when it was convenient for me. He was quick to say ""Oh we will call you back"" and didn't give me time to say anything else and hung up on me.

Person called, stating he was from AT&T/DirecTV, claiming that our receivers needed to be upgraded. He went further to say that our current receivers would no longer work in 5-6 days, due to DirecTV switching satellite locations. When he got to this point, I figured it was a scam, because I am sure DirecTV would have alerted their users officially by now. After I hung up on him, he called back, and I had to hang up on him again. After hanging up with him the second time, I contacted AT&T/DirecTV in an online chat session, and they confirmed this is absolutely a scam.

Does anybody else getting calls from this number? It called me just few minutes ago 9/10/2020. I didn't answer because I didnt hear it and now I think it is not good idea to call back.
