I also received a message from this number ""Hello this is the secure phone call from the sweepstakes headquarter at 4800 CIGNA Dr Raleigh NC your call is being recorded for quality purposes you are a selected winner with publishers clearing House sweepstakes in association with WinStar international your claim code is .....""
This number called my phone and an automated voice said I won 2.8 million dollars and a Mercedes Benz and to call to claim my grand prize. I did not call the number - I Googled it and lots of others are getting this same scam call. One other person reported that they called the number and were told they needed to purchase two $500 gift cards to transfer their winnings to.
Is anybody getting calls from the number 8775488119 ? Called me a few times recently but I didn't answer, I was at work. Do you think it's a good idea to call it back? to be honest, I'm afraid of any unwanted costs. Happened to me in the past.
