Got a voicemail saying that a medical procedure was covered by insurance. The callers' name when given was muffled and gave this number to call back also said that I would be getting a letter in the mail with more info. Definitely a scam. Have no idea of the caller name and company which was done purposely.

Claimed that my doctor had requested a procedure. If that were true, I would know about it. Then she asked for my personal insurance #. I told her, "You're phishing," & hung up on her. I then blocked the number.

Call from Ecore Healthcare on behalf of Aetna that requested service not approved. Gave my full name. But why did not give the name of my Doctor? Must be a scam.

It said some kind of medical procedure approval and authorization for services requested by doctor. However, I have never been to this X healthcare with Aetna insurance. Plus, I'm not the person who name Miller. This is not my first time to receive this similar calls with different name of healthcare, insurance, and the person who tring to reach. Some comments say this is a scam, some say it's not. I think the best practice is calling your health care provider and insurance company from their official contact numbers, (bill statement, website, or provider card) never using the number from the voicemail. So this is spam. I don't see how they can get away with stuff like this. I had already had this number blocked but they were able to leave a message on my voicemail. Only thing I can do is report it as spam again.
